First things first, To all the new 2004/2005 Dance EXCO members,
My heartiest Congratulations for being elected to lead Dance Ens. to new heights.
*CHEERS AND APPLAUSES*
Next,
2005 will be a VERY busy year for Dance Ens. as we prepare ourselves once agan for SYF, Danceworks, your new school premises official opening (it's SUPPOSED to be completed next year right?) and possibly fufilling my dream of taking you gals out of singapore. (and No it's not sentosa!)
After nearly 2 years of collaboration with you and your various teachers, we have managed to transform Dance Ensemble into a prestigious CCA. The next step is for you to prove that dancers are both cool AND SMART . So, for the moment, Leave all your excitement behind. For now, just focus on your academics ok? Good luck for your exams!!
I'll start brainstorming with you gals for concepts on Danceworks AND SYF after your exams...

Thank you for the time, efforts and work you've put into Dance Ensemble for the past 12 months. It's been fun collaborating with you gals.. YOU all ROCK!
Also, this is currently UNOFFICIAL news, some of you gals may already know that I have an intention to start another Dance ensemble (a non profit society), mainly to cater for those who are graduating really soon and for those who have ALREADY GRADUATED. Well, sort of an ALUMNI dancers. Whether this society will or will not be officially affliated to your school is still a BIG question mark. However, using the Toa Payoh's Tech block's dance studio for weekly meetings and activites should not be a big problem.
Right now, I need to gather a list of those who may be interested to join IF this society materialises. Those of you who are graduating or have graduated and are interested in this idea, Please drop me an email (taycw@declaffer.com). Please include the following:
1) Your contact details,
2) the year you graduated
3) your current occupation
4) A short introduction of yourself (if I don't know you)
5) your various interest in the various dance genres
I will call for an unofficial meeting sometime in December to discuss this idea in more details.
My goal for this society is big: To start it up initially as a 'alumni' for people to comeback and dance and enjoy yourselves.. but slowly, with my contacts and your talents, develop it into a professional dance company.
One thing for sure, if this society materialises, it will not focus solely on ballet. We will explore other dance genres too!

it was FANTASTIC. and i had uber fun! :)
u noe that i`ll never forget u guys and i`m gonna miss dance and you all so much when i leave. thanks for all the lil prezzies, the flowers, the letters! they were all so cute and touching. haha. so proud that u guys did such a spectacular job.
well, dun worry k u guys, we seniors will PROMISE to come back and visit dance. we`ll also continue to keep the memories of dance deep in our hearts :)
